Assistant Store Manager
Michael Kors seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Amsterdam to lead store operations, coach the team and drive sales.

Role & Responsibilities
- Coach, inspire and lead the store team to deliver consistent high-performance and a culture of accountability.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training to develop brand ambassadors and succession pipelines.
- Lead by example on the sales floor to meet and exceed sales targets and store KPIs.
- Analyze performance reports and implement actionable plans to improve conversion, average transaction value and client retention.
- Proactively manage the client database and clienteling activities to deepen relationships and drive repeat business.
- Plan and collaborate on local customer events and promotions to generate incremental revenue.
- Ensure inventory integrity through scheduled audits and bi-annual inventories and oversee loss-prevention practices.
- Utilize company communication platforms effectively and action corporate updates in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Proven retail and store management experience in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Demonstrated leadership capability with experience coaching and developing front-line teams.
- Strong commercial acumen with familiarity interpreting retail KPIs and sales reports.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office and digital clienteling/CRM tools to support sales activity.
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to remain composed under pressure and adapt to changing retail priorities.
- Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Experience
Proven retail and management experience in a fast-paced environment, including hands-on sales leadership, team development and operational accountability.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, retail, fashion or a related field preferred.
