Role & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Research and Development Engineer and R&D Manager on yeast characterization projects.
  • Complete literature reviews and methodologies related to fermentative yeast characterization.
  • Develop and implement microplate tests for yeast characterization, including fermentation kinetics, nitrogen requirements, and sulfite tolerance.
  • Apply methods to both historical and market yeast strains.
  • Analyze and interpret experimental results.
  • Communicate findings to relevant departments and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or Engineering School background.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Skills

Expertise in microbiology and alcoholic fermentation techniques. Proficiency in laboratory best practices. Statistical analysis skills.

Experience

No prior experience required; suitable for beginners.

Education

Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
