Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the operational implementation of an oenological project within the Quality & Development Oenology Department, focusing on Maison Ruinart.
  • Develop the experimental specifications, including conducting bibliographic studies and organizing internal documentation.
  • Engage with scientific partners such as laboratories and equipment suppliers, and draft experimental protocols.
  • Perform analytical measurements on viticultural and physiological aspects of grapes, particularly during the veraison period, and organize the resulting data.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, including viticultural and oenological services and external scientific partners.
  • Interpret results and compile trial evaluations.
  • Collaborate closely with a counterpart responsible for a similar project on black grape varieties.

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in a DNO program, engineering, viticulture-oenology training, or a master's in wine studies.

Skills

Excellent writing and organizational skills. Ability to adapt to diverse internal and external interlocutors. Teamwork proficiency while managing projects autonomously. Strong knowledge of the wine industry and a sensitivity to sustainable development. Motivation, curiosity, and an appreciation for both research and fieldwork. Proficiency in English and computer tools.

Experience

No specific prior experience required, but a strong understanding of the wine industry is essential.

Education

Enrollment in a DNO program, engineering, viticulture-oenology training, or a master's in wine studies.
