Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop technical drawings for packaging designs in CAD format, ensuring precise dimensions, cross-sections, and construction details.
  • Create photorealistic renderings using KeyShot and 3D software to simulate materials, finishes, and packaging in a contextual environment.
  • Define dimensional and structural specifications, including internal measurements, thicknesses, folds, secondary packaging, and palletization.
  • Support industrialization by collaborating with suppliers and production teams for prototype validation, resistance testing, production cost analysis, and lead time assessment.
  • Coordinate with marketing and graphic teams to translate graphic guidelines into technical layouts, verifying bleed margins, cutting, and folding lines.
  • Manage and update project files, 3D models, and technical documentation within PLM/ERP systems.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Industrial Design with a specialization in packaging, or a Diploma in Graphic Design / Technical Design with proven experience in the F&B sector.
  • Specialized courses in packaging design techniques and CAD/3D software.

Skills

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro). Advanced experience with 2D/3D CAD software, including AutoCAD and Rhinoceros 7. Skill in producing professional-quality renderings using KeyShot. Technical knowledge of packaging materials and techniques, including regulations for food-contact materials. Competence in printing and finishing processes such as offset, flexo, and screen printing, UV coatings, die-cutting, and laser cutting. Precision and attention to detail. Ability to translate creative concepts into feasible technical solutions. Strong problem-solving skills and results-oriented mindset. Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working in cross-functional teams. Flexibility and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced Food & Beverage environment. Fluency in English.

Experience

Relevant experience in packaging design within the Food & Beverage sector is required.

Education

Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Industrial Design with a specialization in packaging, or a Diploma in Graphic Design / Technical Design.
