Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive EMEA wholesale revenue and profitability by executing the brand's strategic plan for the region and meeting designated turnover and operating profit targets.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, investments and growth targets with key regional partners including department stores, travel retail and multi-brand accounts.
  • Lead business activities during market weeks: manage showroom and virtual presentations, run client appointments, negotiate orders and ensure timely order confirmation with sales administration.
  • Identify and secure new wholesale partnerships and maintain market and competitive intelligence to inform growth opportunities.
  • Design and implement commercial operations (pop-ups, training programs, sales incentives, visual merchandising) in collaboration with marketing; manage related expenditures to ensure strong ROI.
  • Ensure commercial agreements comply with legal requirements and maintain accurate contractual documentation.
  • Regularly visit key points of sale to optimise assortment and merchandising for maximum commercial impact and propose reorders to avoid stockouts of top sellers.
  • Oversee credit management and customer service related to wholesale accounts to preserve healthy partner relationships.
  • Prepare, monitor and report monthly and annual sales, expenses and performance vs. plan; propose short-, mid- and long-term strategic plans and budgets.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a comparable wholesale or area management role within the luxury fashion sector.
  • Proven network across the EMEA wholesale landscape and experience managing department store, travel retail and multi-brand accounts.
  • Fluency in French and English (written and verbal) is essential; operational Italian is highly desirable.
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrable negotiation skills and a sales-driven mindset.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a sales administration or commercial support team within a matrix organisation.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to operational detail.

Experience

A minimum of 5 years in a similar wholesale or area management role within the luxury or high-end fashion industry, with an established EMEA network and proven success managing department store, travel retail and multi-brand partnerships.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Management, Marketing or a related discipline; postgraduate qualifications (MBA or Master’s) or equivalent industry experience are advantageous.
