Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute retail sales plans to grow market share and maximise counter productivity across the assigned area.
  • Monitor sales performance and KPIs by counter; implement corrective actions to meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Evaluate and manage Beauty Consultant (BC) productivity and individual sales results; conduct regular counter visits, coaching and performance appraisals.
  • Recruit, allocate and manage BC staffing, schedules, training plans and day-to-day operational matters; ensure compliance with occupational health and safety obligations.
  • Ensure BCs adhere to selling guidelines and consistently express brand values through high-quality customer service.
  • Plan, supervise and implement promotional and animation activities in coordination with Marketing; negotiate merchandising, visuals and event logistics with department store partners.
  • Prepare promotion briefings, oversee execution, collect post-event feedback and report outcomes to management.
  • Track competitor activity in-market and communicate relevant intelligence to regional management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the beauty industry, preferably in retail management or trade marketing with department store distribution.
  • Proven people-management skills with a track record of coaching, motivating teams and driving sales performance.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder-management skills for liaising with department store partners.
  • Business acumen with analytical capability to interpret sales data and KPIs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
  • Highly self-driven, able to operate independently and as part of a wider team; customer- and sales-oriented.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 60% of working time to support counters and promotional events.

Experience
