Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead packaging development projects for product innovations and renovations, ensuring financial, timeline, quality, and ecological standards are met.
  • Support the creation and optimization of packaging procedures.
  • Conduct technological research on material manufacturing and decoration processes.
  • Oversee technical product development, including concept definition, form creation, material selection, and assembly choices, while collaborating with Marketing and Operations teams.
  • Manage design and technical validations by establishing a testing plan from project initiation.
  • Collaborate with project teams in selecting suppliers.
  • Monitor technical project progress with internal teams and suppliers.
  • Ensure all regulatory, ecological, and functional prerequisites of final packaging are met in coordination with Operations, Laboratory, and Marketing teams.
  • Define schedules and coordinate developments to meet launch objectives.
  • Oversee packaging industrialization and manage supplier and subcontractor relationships within time, quality, and budget constraints.
  • Validate print documents and supplier proofs, establish defect standards, and approve quality benchmarks.
  • Mentor and train interns and apprentices to enhance their skills and integrate them into projects.
  • Contribute to the development of the Maison's product development best practices.

Qualifications

  • Degree from an Engineering School or equivalent Bac+5, specializing in Packaging and/or Project Management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in packaging, ideally in a similar technical environment.
  • Strong knowledge of materials and processes (Glass, Metal, Paper/Cardboard, Plastic, Printing).
  • Rigorous, adaptable, and agile with excellent priority and deadline management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and synthesis skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Curious, autonomous, and proactive with a penchant for initiative and innovation.
  • Proficiency in creating models and prototypes.
  • Mastery of Pack Office and Adobe Suite tools; 3D modeling is a plus.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Valid driver's license (Permis B).
