Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the creative design of visual merchandising campaigns in response to marketing briefs.
  • Develop and approve concepts for windows, merchandising kits, in-store animations, podiums, and HPP/SPP installations.
  • Ensure alignment with brand identity, product priorities, and premium standards.
  • Draft and produce global visual merchandising guidelines, including image, concept, materials, and quality standards.
  • Present and disseminate guidelines to regions and markets to ensure perfect and consistent execution.
  • Organize weekly meetings with regional and local visual merchandising teams, ensuring feedback and needs are addressed.
  • Challenge markets as necessary to ensure rigorous application of global directives.
  • Oversee the creation of technical plans, material selection, prototyping, and feasibility studies.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and the purchasing team for technical validations.
  • Ensure final approval of all elements by the executive committee before production.
  • Collaborate closely with purchasing and supply teams on market forecasts.
  • Ensure forecast accuracy and challenge markets in case of discrepancies.
  • Manage the global visual merchandising budget and optimize costs while respecting annual objectives.
  • Supervise all visual merchandising aspects for LM points of sale in France.
  • Guarantee impeccable local execution of campaigns and permanent tools.
  • Manage, support, and develop a team of 3 designers, 1 project manager, and 1 intern.
  • Foster a collaborative, creative, and solution-oriented team culture.
  • Ensure effective organization, priority management, and optimal resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with commercial, marketing, retail design, purchasing, supply, and regional visual merchandising teams.
  • Occasionally travel internationally for market visits, validations, installations, and supplier meetings.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in visual merchandising or retail design within the perfume, beauty, luxury, or premium sectors.
  • Proven experience in managing international or multi-market projects.
  • Mastery of 360° visual merchandising concept development.
  • Excellent proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong knowledge of SketchUp for 3D modeling.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana or Planner.
  • Good knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, technical constraints, and prototyping.
  • Strong leadership and ability to unite a creative team.
  • Strong creative vision combined with operational rigor.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to persuade and align diverse stakeholders.
  • Organizational skills, multitasking ability, and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English is essential; French is an advantage.
