LVMH Fragrance Brands seeks a Purchasing Projects Apprentice — Cosmetics in Levallois-Perret, France. Apprenticeship role supporting packaging tenders, supplier reviews and sustainability initiatives.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Report to a dedicated buyer and support procurement activities for a defined family of cosmetic products; travel between company sites and supplier facilities as required.
  • Manage and run packaging tender processes, from specification to supplier selection and contract follow-up.
  • Implement and monitor mitigation measures identified in the material security plan to address shortages and inflationary pressures.
  • Prepare supplier Business Reviews and support budgetary reviews, tracking savings and inflation impacts.
  • Monitor sustainability KPIs (e.g., recycled content integration) and collaborate with development and factory teams to substitute fossil-based materials.
  • Conduct supplier scouting and innovation watch to identify new materials, processes and partners.

Qualifications

  • Enrolment in an engineering school or business school programme, ideally complemented by a specialised master's in purchasing (e.g., MAI).
  • Fluent English (spoken and written).
  • Proven negotiation aptitude and commercial sense.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with SAP is a plus.
  • Personal qualities: rigor, dynamism, analytical mindset, strong organisational and interpersonal skills, customer-service orientation, team spirit, curiosity, autonomy and proactivity.

Experience
