Overview
LVMH Métiers d’Art, a division of the esteemed LVMH Group, is dedicated to ensuring the availability of strategic raw materials for the Group's fashion houses. Operating across leather, exotic leather, and metal pieces sectors, LVMH Métiers d’Art encompasses 17 industrial companies with a workforce of approximately 3,000. These entities, spread across Italy, Portugal, Spain, France, and Singapore, are characterized by their family-owned cultural heritage, compact size, and agile decision-making processes, fostering a robust entrepreneurial spirit.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead all legal topics in collaboration with the CEO, Executive Committee, and industrial entities.
- Anticipate legal risks and align local practices across entities.
- Manage a portfolio of approximately 20 global entities.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts including service agreements, commercial contracts, and leases.
- Perform general administrative tasks, particularly corporate follow-up for international entities.
- Manage and monitor pre-litigation and litigation processes.
- Draft guidelines and procedures, providing training to ensure compliance.
- Act as a business partner, advising industrial entities on all legal matters.
- Ensure compliance with duty of vigilance, ethics, compliance, and privacy regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of legal experience, preferably in an industrial environment.
- Proficiency in French and English; additional languages such as Spanish, Italian, or Portuguese are advantageous.
Skills
Experience
A minimum of 10 years of experience in managing legal entities, with a preference for those with industrial sector experience.
