Junior Management Accountant
LVMH Fashion Group UK seeks a Junior Management Accountant in London — on‑site, permanent role focused on month‑end, reconciliations, VAT and IFRS.

Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and perform month‑end close activities including prepayments, accruals and fixed‑asset postings.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L variance analysis and balance sheet schedules; maintain general ledger integrity.
- Post and reconcile IFRS 16 lease entries and manage lease accounting queries.
- Deliver full reconciliation and review of all balance sheet accounts and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare VAT returns and support corporation tax reporting and analyses.
- Coordinate consolidation inputs and liaise with the Group consolidation team in Paris, including use of the Group reporting tool.
- Support external year‑end audit processes and manage audit queries in coordination with external auditors.
- Reconcile and clear concessions accounts, cash and credit card sales payments.
- Provide operational accounting support to stores and other Head Office departments and contribute to ad‑hoc digitalisation and efficiency projects.
Qualifications
- Qualified or part‑qualified ACCA / CIMA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Minimum three years’ accounting experience, with demonstrable month‑end and reporting responsibilities.
- Experience in accounts preparation, VAT and corporation tax.
- Proven strength in reconciliations and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Retail industry experience preferred; French speaker is a plus.
- JDE and SAP experience desirable.

Minimum of 3 years’ hands‑on accounting experience, ideally within the retail or luxury sector, with responsibility for month‑end close, management reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and tax return preparation. Exposure to group consolidation processes and external audits is required; JDE or SAP experience is desirable.
Education
Qualified or part‑qualified ACCA, CIMA or equivalent accounting qualification.
