Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement international press and influence strategies for watch profiles.
  • Manage direct relationships with French journalists and international media in the watch, luxury, and lifestyle sectors.
  • Draft and distribute press materials, including press releases, dossiers, product sheets, and Q&As.
  • Handle media requests, including interviews, product loans, photoshoots, and approvals.
  • Monitor press coverage and analyze performance through reporting and KPIs.
  • Organize and coordinate international press events and product launches.
  • Manage invitations, press lists, logistics, content, and coordination of service providers for events.
  • Conduct post-event reporting.
  • Collaborate with marketing, digital, event, and clienteling teams.
  • Oversee press budget management, including invoices, costs, and prioritization.
  • Stay informed on media, watchmaking, luxury, and influence trends.
  • Work closely with headquarters and regional teams to tailor press strategies to market specifics.
  • Organize regular exchange sessions for regional and local press relations managers to enhance visibility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, Journalism, or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in the watchmaking/jewelry sector.

Skills

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Strong project management skills with the ability to challenge and adapt. Autonomous and proactive. Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken. Sensitivity to the luxury sector, demonstrating excellence, rigor, attention to detail, and creativity.

Experience

A minimum of 5 years in similar roles, ideally within the watchmaking or jewelry industry.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Communication, Journalism, or similar fields.
