Technical Specifications Specialist — Footwear
Louis Vuitton seeks a Technical Specifications Specialist — Footwear in Venice, Italy. Responsible for BOM coding, DI.BA. technical sheets and costing (Excel/PLM).

Role & Responsibilities
- Encode and catalogue all materials and components required for each shoe model (leathers, accessories, reinforcements, laces, packaging, etc.) and enter the corresponding technical sheet (DI.BA.) into the system.
- Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and costed technical sheets; produce cost estimates during prototyping and for collection items.
- Collaborate with Design, Purchasing, Marketing and internal/external manufacturers to ensure accurate coding and alignment between technical data and physical samples.
- Coordinate with external and internal factories on labour costs, consumption assumptions and consistency of DI.BA. with supplier-managed samples.
- Contribute to the determination of production pricing in partnership with relevant departments.
- Prepare and deliver reports and analyses on technical data, costs and production parameters.
Qualifications
- Secondary school diploma or university degree (Diploma o Laurea).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a footwear technical/costing role; 5+ years in the footwear sector preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel; PLM experience is a distinct advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to liaise across Design, Purchasing and Manufacturing.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Working knowledge of English.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in footwear technical specifications, costing or BOM management; candidates with 5+ years in the footwear industry are preferred.
