Sourcing Assistant Intern

Role & Responsibilities

• Assist the sourcing team in the procurement and management of materials, including launching developments for canvas and embellishments following design briefs.
• Aid in planning and tracking material tests with suppliers and processors.
• Contribute to updating project management tools, including project tracking tables, budget monitoring, and PLM coding.
• Facilitate innovation by engaging with the supplier panel and conducting competitive analysis.
• Participate in organizing material novelty presentation meetings.
• Maintain vigilance on innovations related to material reuse.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a business or engineering school or equivalent program.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Italian is advantageous.
• Experience with Excel and/or Power BI is recommended.
• Strong interest in materials and leather goods products.
• Attraction to project management.
