Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HSE policies ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards, including risk assessment and safety measures.
  • Continuously monitor workplace health and safety conditions, ensuring adherence to policies and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure company compliance with all current health, safety, and environmental regulations, managing relationships with authorities and certification bodies.
  • Provide ongoing training to employees on safe practices and environmental procedures, and offer strategic advice to management to enhance HSE performance.
  • Manage emergency situations related to safety and the environment, coordinating immediate responses and minimizing risks.
  • Coordinate local HSE teams to ensure the implementation of group initiatives, aligning with corporate standards and disseminating best practices.
  • Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor HSE performance and report progress and issues to senior management.
  • Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, influencing positive attitudes towards safety and environmental practices.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a scientific discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing environments
  • In-depth knowledge of laws, regulations, management systems (ISO 45001, 14001), risk analysis, PPE management, safety procedures (POS), specific software, chemistry, and ergonomics

Skills

Proficiency in production processes Willingness to travel frequently Flexibility and ability to interact with various internal and external stakeholders Attention to detail Strong command of IT tools, particularly Excel Good command of English (B2 level), French is a plus

Experience

A minimum of 10 years in manufacturing environments is required, with a strong background in health, safety, and environmental management.

Education

Master's degree in a scientific discipline
