Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of business reviews for strategic suppliers.
  • Monitor and analyze quarterly performance of strategic suppliers, focusing on economic and quality metrics.
  • Oversee and manage modification requests (DM).
  • Support and optimize supplier performance management tools.
  • Aid in the launch of requests for proposals.
  • Prepare for negotiations through analysis and price breakdowns.
  • Actively participate in team routines.
  • Input pricing data into systems such as SAP/PLM.
  • Codify materials within systems.
  • Standardize purchasing processes across three divisions.
  • Centralize and analyze material process sheets to identify optimization and performance improvement opportunities.
  • Provide occasional support to the market buyer on strategic house topics.

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in a business or engineering school, in the final year or pursuing a Master's degree with a specialization in Purchasing.

Skills

Strong analytical skills. Excellent communication abilities, with adaptability and leadership qualities. Autonomy in task management. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Power BI is advantageous. Fluency in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in Italian or Spanish is a plus.

Experience

Prior experience in purchasing, ideally within an industrial company, is preferred. Experience in raw materials procurement is advantageous.

Education

Currently pursuing a degree in Business or Engineering with a focus on Purchasing.
