Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain medium‑ and long‑term production plans and weekly scheduling in alignment with company objectives.
  • Manage the end‑to‑end work order process — release, progress monitoring, and closing — for both in‑house production and external suppliers.
  • Monitor production status continuously, adjust priorities and timelines, and update stakeholders to ensure on‑time delivery.
  • Interface with technical offices, project leads and headquarters to track advancement of new product introductions.
  • Investigate production variances, escalate issues to relevant parties and propose corrective actions to meet targets.
  • Monitor supplier material stocks and perform inventory valuation and stock checks.
  • Prepare periodic statistical reports and KPIs required by supply chain control and management.
  • Implement process improvements to increase planning accuracy and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Diploma and/or university degree in economics or a technical discipline.
  • Minimum five years' experience in production planning within highly structured manufacturing or industrial environments; experience in leather goods/pelletteria is strongly preferred.
  • Advanced experience with MRP processes via ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Good command of English; knowledge of French is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving capabilities, with proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

Experience

At least 5 years in production planning within highly structured manufacturing or industrial contexts; experience in the leather‑goods sector is preferred.
