Role & Responsibilities
- Perform manual decoration and finishing operations on watch movement components following prescribed techniques and process sheets.
- Prepare and handle components for decoration, selecting methods that respect the manufacture's quality standards.
- Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications to achieve required finishes and tolerances.
- Carry out self‑inspection and quality control on finished components, ensuring conformity with established standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised workstation and care for hand tools and finishing equipment.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to report non‑conformities and propose process improvements.
Qualifications
- Vocational training in decoration, métiers d'art, fine finishing or a related craft discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within the watchmaking industry.
- Proven manual dexterity, meticulousness, precision and sustained concentration.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and follow strict workmanship standards.
