Role & Responsibilities

  • Craft leather goods including cutting, preparing, and assembling leather items.
  • Utilize various materials such as canvas, textiles, and exotic materials in the production of bags, wallets, and luggage.
  • Prepare pieces through skiving and splitting processes.
  • Understand assembly and mounting techniques, production costs, and quality criteria.
  • Master the use of various equipment including sewing, skiving, splitting, sanding, and coloring machines.
  • Perform first-level maintenance on equipment.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a specialized training in leather goods, such as a Bac Pro or CAP in leather craftsmanship.

Skills

Strong listening skills. Organizational skills. Attention to detail and precision.

Experience

No prior experience required; suitable for beginners.

Education

Bac Pro or CAP in leather craftsmanship.
