Role & Responsibilities
- Craft leather goods including cutting, preparing, and assembling leather items.
- Utilize various materials such as canvas, textiles, and exotic materials in the production of bags, wallets, and luggage.
- Prepare pieces through skiving and splitting processes.
- Understand assembly and mounting techniques, production costs, and quality criteria.
- Master the use of various equipment including sewing, skiving, splitting, sanding, and coloring machines.
- Perform first-level maintenance on equipment.
Qualifications
- Completion of a specialized training in leather goods, such as a Bac Pro or CAP in leather craftsmanship.
