Louis Vuitton seeks an Industrial Controller in Venice, Italy — senior finance role overseeing production budgeting, reporting and KPI analysis.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Analyze and monitor production performance metrics (variances vs. standard, consumption, efficiency and related drivers).
  • Define, prepare and document key operational and financial KPIs to support business decision-making.
  • Manage monthly closing activities and present consolidated results to operational stakeholders.
  • Perform scenario modelling and sensitivity analyses to support management planning and strategic decisions.
  • Prepare the annual budget and periodic forecasts and ensure accurate entry into the company ERP.
  • Actively contribute to process-improvement initiatives across the site and affiliated entities, proposing and implementing new policies and procedures where necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies across the production unit and participating companies.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Management Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in finance/control roles within structured manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with operational teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities with a pragmatic, results-oriented mindset.
  • Solid understanding of production processes and flows, with the ability to identify and prioritise critical issues.
  • Capacity to work autonomously, meet deadlines and operate in a matrix organisation.
  • Advanced knowledge of integrated management information systems (preferably SAP) and strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Good command of English and/or French.
  • Previous experience in setting up a new production site or providing finance-process consultancy to industrial operations is desirable.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Experience

At least 5 years of progressive experience in industrial or production controlling within structured manufacturing environments; experience with new-site start-ups or finance-process consulting is a plus.

University degree in Economics, Business/Finance, Management Engineering or a closely related discipline.
