Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the in-store subject-matter expert for exotic leather goods, maintaining the highest standard of product knowledge and storytelling.
  • Drive exotics category sales through personal client development, portfolio management and high-conversion clienteling techniques.
  • Lead product training, new-launch briefings and hands-on coaching for store colleagues to elevate category performance.
  • Observe sales interactions, provide constructive feedback and coach team members during the selling ceremony to improve technique and results.
  • Partner with store management to translate corporate strategy into local actions, communicate business priorities and contribute to morning briefings.
  • Analyse category performance and customer trends to recommend merchandising, inventory and client outreach actions that maximise sales.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years' experience in luxury retail, with demonstrable success selling exotic leather goods or comparable high-value accessories.
  • Proven ability to achieve and sustain top-seller performance within a specialised category.
  • Exceptional storytelling and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric approach to relationship building.
  • Experience delivering training and coaching to retail teams; ability to influence peers and managers.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical mindset to interpret sales KPIs and translate insights into actions.

Experience
