Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational accounting support to stores and the regional accounting team.
  • Handle invoice processing, bank reconciliations, and sales reconciliations.
  • Assist with Capex monitoring and related reporting.
  • Contribute to declarations and compliance tasks, including VAT, Intrastat, and statistics.
  • Support in monthly closings and financial reporting.
  • Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders such as suppliers, stores, and business partners.
  • Prepare and analyze profit and loss statements and running costs.
  • Follow up on actuals versus budget.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Controlling, Finance, or a related field.
  • Internship agreement provided by the university is mandatory.

Skills

Strong command of English; knowledge of Dutch, French, Polish, or Nordic languages is advantageous. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively. Proactive, flexible, and eager to take initiative.

Experience

No prior experience required; suitable for beginners.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Controlling, Finance, or related field.
