Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct a comprehensive assessment of existing practices and tools within the Method/Continuous Improvement department.
  • Analyze current methodologies to provide recommendations and develop an associated action plan.
  • Implement and monitor the progress of the action plan.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects with other French workshops and headquarters.
  • Develop a tool for managing production capacity saturation to enhance workshop performance.
  • Optimize current processes to increase efficiency and reduce tool usage.
  • Evaluate the feasibility of sharing production resources across assembly lines.
  • Establish and deploy production standards across various lines.
  • Enhance production line performance through process improvement initiatives (e.g., time studies, flow analysis, workstation layout, 5S, capacity planning).
  • Organize improvement workshops (e.g., audits, value-added/non-value-added observations, MRP).
  • Apply the DMAIC methodology in change management projects.
  • Participate in weekly cross-functional meetings with production managers.

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in a BAC+5 level program specializing in continuous improvement or production.
  • Demonstrated autonomy, rigor, and initiative-taking abilities.
  • Strong analytical, relational, and synthesis skills.
  • Team-oriented with a strong sense of customer service.

Skills

Proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies such as DMAIC and 5S. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Proficiency in project management and organizational skills.

Experience

No prior experience required; suitable for beginners.

Education

Currently pursuing a BAC+5 level degree in continuous improvement or production.
