Louis Vuitton in Paris seeks an Apprentice Leather & Fur Development Assistant — Women's Ready-to-Wear (alternance) to support PLM, samples and material management.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Leather & Fur Development team for Women's Ready-to-Wear across material management and collection development.
  • Coordinate PLM entries and updates: technical sheets, pricing, warnings, material interfaces, code creation and data extraction.
  • Manage sample and press repeat orders, celebrity requests and launch of colour developments; monitor delivery deadlines and follow up with suppliers.
  • Organise and track material testing in collaboration with the quality referent and maintain testing records.
  • Maintain and reconcile stock records, master material archives and the PLM photo database.
  • Prepare, track and receive shipments (DHL / couriers) and assist with preparation and dispatches to manufacturers.
  • Update development tracking tables, studio boards and rails; provide daily administrative support including invoicing follow-up.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a fashion school (fashion management), business programme or equivalent university course.
  • First professional experience or internship in ready-to-wear / fashion is preferred.
  • Strong sensibility for fashion and the luxury universe, with technical knowledge of product and development processes.
  • High level of organisational rigour, excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written).

Experience

Entry-level; currently a student with at least one prior internship or introductory experience in ready-to-wear or fashion product development.

Education

Student in Fashion School (management of fashion), Business School or equivalent university degree in a related field.
