Louis Vuitton internship — Apprentice Women's Ready-to-Wear Components Development Assistant in Paris (1st). Apprenticeship starts Sept 2026; 4 days in company / 1 day at school.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage and follow up on component sample orders and material release requests; coordinate with studios, product managers (woven and knit), and suppliers.
  • Enter and maintain technical sheets, prices, warnings and material interfaces in the PLM system; perform PLM extractions as required.
  • Track delivery schedules and coordinate shipment preparation, follow-up and reception (DHL / couriers).
  • Maintain development tracking spreadsheets and the Masters Components filing system; update the PLM photo database.
  • Support preparation and dispatch of components to manufacturers and assist with materials archiving for each collection.
  • Follow up on billing and administrative day-to-day tasks related to component development.
  • Manage press repetitions and celebrity orders: place orders, initiate colour developments and monitor deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Final-year student in fashion design, fashion management, business or equivalent university program (apprenticeship/alternance).
  • First professional experience or internship in ready-to-wear or fashion preferred.
  • Strong sensitivity to fashion and the luxury universe, and basic technical knowledge of apparel products and collection development processes.
  • High level of rigor and organisation; strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Fluent English.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Experience

Entry-level. Suitable for a final-year student with at least one prior internship or practical experience in ready-to-wear or the fashion industry.

Education

Final-year student in fashion school, fashion management, commerce/business or equivalent university programme.
