Role & Responsibilities

  • Understand the stylist's requirements in terms of shape and style.
  • Propose initial product volumes based on sketches or stylist directives using various materials such as paper, cardboard, salpa, and leather.
  • Verify technical feasibility and anticipate assembly challenges.
  • Identify and propose technical solutions for assembly and other processes.
  • Collaborate in the development of new products, either in pairs or independently.
  • Participate in cutting, preparation, and assembly operations.
  • Create removable product components such as handles and straps.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Bac +2 level program in Leather Goods or a related field.

Skills

Knowledge and expertise in modeling and pattern making. Strong team spirit with excellent interpersonal skills. Proactive and solution-oriented. Meticulous and versatile. Inventive and creative. Open-minded, friendly, energetic, enthusiastic, and adaptable. Ability to prioritize and maintain a strategic perspective. Technical knowledge of competitor models and familiarity with small leather goods is appreciated.

Experience

No prior experience required; suitable for beginners.

Education

Pursuing a Bac +2 level diploma in Leather Goods or equivalent.
