Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure accuracy and adequacy of accounting records across various areas including sales and bank reconciliation, intercompany transactions, payroll bookings, accounts payable, tax, accruals, and expense notes.
  • Monitor fixed assets and activate CAPEX.
  • Address cash-related issues and serve as the key contact for assigned countries.
  • Manage VAT and Intrastat declarations.
  • Handle local statistical requests.
  • Participate actively in the monthly and quarterly closing processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS and reporting to the EMEA Zone.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks and generate reports as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.

Skills

Strong command of English; proficiency in French, Dutch, or Nordic languages is advantageous. Excellent computer skills, particularly in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Advanced analytical and organizational skills. Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail. Proactive, flexible, and able to take initiative.

Experience

3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
