Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accuracy and adequacy of accounting records across various domains including sales and bank reconciliation, intercompany transactions, payroll bookings, accounts payable, tax, and accruals.
  • Monitor fixed assets and activate CAPEX.
  • Oversee cash management issues and serve as the primary contact for assigned countries.
  • Manage VAT and Intrastat declarations.
  • Handle local statistical requests.
  • Participate actively in the monthly and quarterly closing processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS and reporting to the EMEA Zone.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks and generate reports as needed.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting.

Skills

Strong command of English; proficiency in French, Dutch, or Nordic languages is advantageous. Excellent computer skills, particularly in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Exceptional analytical and organizational skills with a strong sense of ownership. Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail. Proactive, flexible, and able to take initiative.

Experience

3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
