Procurement Intern

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

• Maintain and update internal procurement databases to support decision-making and reporting;
• Classify, monitor and administratively manage suppliers and associated purchasing contracts;
• Operate and manage Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools to support purchasing workflows;
• Assist the procurement team in sourcing, contracting and purchasing operations, including supplier interactions;
• Contribute to international procurement projects and cross-border sourcing initiatives;
• Provide operational back‑office support for procurement processes and team administration.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Economics, Engineering or a closely related discipline;
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint;
• Prior exposure to SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage;
• Strong problem‑solving aptitude, precision and attention to detail;
• Demonstrated team orientation and flexibility in a dynamic, cross‑functional environment;
• Fluent Italian and English, both written and spoken.

Experience

Beginner — suitable for recent graduates or final‑year master's students with academic exposure to procurement, operations or supply‑chain topics. No extensive professional experience required.

Education

Master’s degree in Economics, Engineering or similar field.
