Loro Piana seeks a Knitwear Industrial Quality Manager in Borgosesia, Italy to lead internal quality control and drive process improvements in knitwear production.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain Internal Quality Check standards for knitwear product families and specific items.
  • Lead the Internal Knitwear Quality Check team to verify finished-garment conformity versus pre-production samples and to manage non-conformities across all quality control points.
  • Serve as the primary contact for problem-solving analyses on process deviations and drive corrective action plans to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Process Engineering, Product Development, Internal Production and Industrialization teams to implement corrective, preventive and continuous-improvement actions.
  • Support the drafting and optimisation of quality operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Develop, refine and monitor quality performance indicators (KPIs) for internal knitwear factories.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Textile, Mechanical or Management Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification).
  • Minimum 3 years' proven experience in quality roles; 3–4 years in quality contexts preferred.
  • Direct experience within a knitwear or apparel production environment.
  • Solid knowledge of knitting processes (from forming to finishing, ironing and packaging) and basic understanding of yarn processing.
  • Familiarity with statistical quality methods including Process Capability, Statistical Process Control and Measurement Systems Analysis.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and team leadership skills with a results-driven attitude.
  • Proficient English language skills.

Experience

At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance/control roles, with demonstrated experience in knitwear production and in leading a quality team; background in process analysis and corrective action implementation.

Degree in Textile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Management Engineering or equivalent
