Longines is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Paris — permanent role supporting boutique operations, sales and client service within a major department store.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Boutique Manager in daily store operations within a major department store, ensuring the boutique meets sales, service and visual standards.
- Drive sales performance through active clienteling, personalised service and conversion of high-net-worth and walk-in clientele.
- Coach, schedule and supervise boutique staff; conduct onboarding, in-store training and performance feedback to develop a high-performing team.
- Ensure brand-compliant visual merchandising and product presentation in coordination with corporate VM and department store guidelines.
- Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment and loss-prevention procedures; reconcile POS transactions and assist in reporting.
- Act as brand ambassador at customer-facing events and during peak trading periods; escalate client feedback and service issues to management.
Qualifications
- Proven retail leadership capability with strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding customer-service orientation with a luxury or premium retail mindset.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to analyse sales metrics and implement corrective actions.
- Fluent French with professional spoken English; additional languages advantageous.
- Availability to work retail hours, including weekends and peak retail periods; flexibility for department-store events.
Skills
Experience
Typically 3+ years in retail sales with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role; prior experience in watches, jewellery or other luxury categories is strongly preferred.
Education
Secondary education required; vocational or tertiary qualification in retail, business or luxury brand management preferred.
