Stockroom Assistant
Le Bon Marché — Paris: Stockroom Assistant (CDD, Apr–May 2026). Full‑time entry‑level role supporting store logistics, inventory and back‑of‑house operations.

Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and optimise in‑store storage areas for commercial departments to ensure efficient flow of goods.
- Receive, sort and store incoming merchandise; maintain order and accessibility in the stockroom.
- Prepare replenishment for sales floor and organise outbound returns to suppliers.
- Control, package and de‑label products according to store procedures, including re‑labelling when required.
- Sustain 5S and Lean housekeeping standards across back‑of‑house areas and escalate issues that jeopardise team objectives.
- Collaborate closely with sales and buying teams to coordinate stock movements and inventory needs.
- Complete assigned tasks per the operational planning and provide concise activity reports on stock status.
Qualifications
- First experience in stock handling or logistics preferred; entry‑level candidates with relevant exposure will be considered.
- Demonstrable rigour, organisation and ability to manage priorities in a fast‑paced retail setting.
- Client‑oriented mindset with a strong sense of service and practical problem‑solving.
- Capacity to take initiative while working collaboratively with multiple internal stakeholders.
- Comfort with preparing activity reports and basic inventory documentation.
- Proficient with standard IT tools used in retail operations.

Experience
Entry‑level position; a first role or internship in stockroom, store logistics or warehouse operations is advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
High school diploma or vocational certificate in logistics, retail or a related discipline preferred; no formal tertiary degree required.
