La Samaritaine — Paris: Press, Influence & Events Internship (6 months). Full-time, on-site internship starting July 2026; school‑sponsored.

Overview

La Samaritaine is an iconic Parisian department store renowned for its curated selection of luxury fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands. Operating within a leading French luxury retail group (Groupe Bon Marché), the institution offers exposure to high-end retail communications and integrated brand experiences in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update press and influencer databases (journalists, stylists, influencers) and ensure accurate contact records.
  • Monitor, compile and analyse media coverage; produce daily press reviews and quantitative/qualitative reports on PR performance.
  • Identify and shortlist relevant influencers; support the conception, execution and measurement of influencer campaigns.
  • Track influencer partnerships and collaborations, including follow-up, reporting and performance analysis.
  • Support logistical organisation of press and influencer events (launches, exhibitions, soirées), coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Assist with on-site guest reception and event execution, ensuring a high standard of hospitality and brand representation.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Bac+3/4/5 programme (communications, public relations, journalism, business school or equivalent).
  • Internship must be school‑sponsored (convention de stage) for the full six-month period.
  • Excellent written and spoken French; good command of English.
  • Strong organisational skills, rigor, autonomy and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Curiosity, proactivity and a demonstrable ability to propose creative solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative team spirit.
  • Previous internship experience in PR, communications or events is an advantage.
