Kering is seeking a Venture Capital Analyst Intern in Paris, France. Join the Ventures & Innovation team for a 6-month internship to support investment activities and innovation strategies.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with international venture capital firms and internal/external networks to build and qualify investment opportunity dealflow.
  • Identify and engage with top investment opportunities aligned with the investment strategy.
  • Meet entrepreneurs and teams to assess alignment with Kering's investment strategy.
  • Support the team in the due diligence process, including note-taking during meetings, reference checks, investment memo writing, technology and business model evaluation, sector research, competition and entry barrier analysis, and risk identification.
  • Monitor the portfolio and produce/update periodic performance tracking reports.
  • Identify and leverage opportunities to accelerate portfolio success, including potential partnerships or synergies within the group.
  • Gather insights from industry experts, update the knowledge base, and create high-quality content for internal and external purposes.
  • Participate in startup meetings, community engagements, sector conferences, and contribute to organizing unique events.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a business or engineering school or equivalent university program.
  • Previous internship experience, ideally in venture capital, consulting, investment banking, private equity, or technology and innovation.
  • Passion for new technologies and a strong connection or desire to integrate into the innovation and technology ecosystem.

Skills

Strong analytical capabilities with developed conceptual skills, business acumen, and intellectual curiosity. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills. Organized and detail-oriented with strong project management skills. Emotional intelligence and ability to manage relationships with discernment and empathy. Fluency in French and English.

Experience

Previous internship experience in venture capital, consulting, investment banking, private equity, or related fields is preferred.

Education

Currently enrolled in a business or engineering school or equivalent university program.
