Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and evolve the architecture of shared backend components, including APIs, sessions, and micro-services.
  • Define and enforce development best practices, testability, and security guidelines.
  • Provide technical oversight for the Core Platform team, reviewing code and validating pull requests.
  • Define integration contracts, document features, and support adoption across teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Delivery, SRE, DevOps, Security, and Product teams.
  • Monitor reliability, performance, and reuse of the platform components.

Qualifications

  • 6–10 years of experience in software engineering, including at least 2 years as a Tech Lead.
  • Strong background in backend architecture, web APIs, distributed systems, and CI/CD.
  • Solid understanding of cloud-native environments such as AWS and GCP.
  • Proficiency in both English and French.

Skills

Expertise in secure development, scalability, and observability standards. Ability to deliver quickly while maintaining high technical quality. Clear, structured communication and ability to lead by influence. Strong analytical skills and structured problem-solving. Ability to lead, mentor, and challenge engineers across teams. Autonomy, proactivity, and accountability.

Experience

6–10 years in software engineering, including at least 2 years as a Tech Lead.
