Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth legal and tax research on French corporate tax, indirect taxes (VAT) and assorted tax regimes.
  • Draft detailed analytical memos, technical notes and executive summaries for Corporate and local accounting teams and management.
  • Support preparation and response for tax audits and interactions with tax authorities.
  • Monitor legislative and case-law developments and contribute to the Group's fiscal watch in France and internationally.
  • Research and apply double tax treaties and comparative tax law to cross-border issues.
  • Assist domestic and international teams (EMEA/AFR/APAC/US/LATAM) on direct and indirect tax matters, producing bilingual (FR/EN) presentations and documentation.
  • Contribute to transfer pricing workstreams: participate in functional analysis interviews and help prepare or update transfer pricing documentation and memorandums.
  • Track and follow-up on fiscal formalities (withholdings, filings and administrative relations) identified by the Group Tax Department.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a university legal curriculum (law/tax) or equivalent higher-education programme, preferably at Master's level.
  • Solid foundational knowledge of French corporate tax and international tax principles.
  • Fluent written and spoken French and English; proven ability to draft technical notes and presentations in both languages.
  • Strong analytical skills, rigor and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with finance, legal and international teams.
  • Sensitivity to brand image and a professional approach to confidential matters.

Experience

Education

Enrolled in a university programme in law, tax or a related discipline (Master's-level or equivalent preferred).
