Staff Accountant
Kering seeks a Staff Accountant in Wayne, NJ to manage GL, monthly close and reconciliations. $70,000–$78,000 + benefits.

Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain financial reports, records and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare journal entries, account analyses and reconciliations; support monthly close processes and meet reporting deadlines.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items promptly.
- Contribute to the preparation and review of annual operating budgets and performance projections.
- Respond to information requests from management and support internal and external audits.
- Ensure accounting practices comply with US GAAP and internal control policies.
- Assist the analyst and other finance colleagues with ad-hoc projects and financial inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and strong numeracy.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
- Analytical problem-solving skills and effective time management.

Experience
Minimum of 2+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate accounting or public accounting environment, including general ledger maintenance, month‑end close, balance sheet reconciliations and audit support; prior exposure to SAP preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
