Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with global and EMEA financial shared services teams to implement finance transformation initiatives locally.
- Lead efforts towards continuous accounting and expedited financial closing processes, utilizing advanced tools in collaboration with YSL brand and finance teams.
- Monitor and communicate the quality of monthly closings, defining corrective actions with brand and regional finance teams.
- Organize team roles to enhance process expertise, efficiency, and quality of financial reporting.
- Maintain SAP analytical structures in alignment with group models for UK entities.
- Support brand management in the UK market with reliable reporting, budgeting insights, and finance expertise on local activities such as boutique openings and lease accounting.
- Manage and deliver month-end reporting submissions in HFM, ensuring accuracy and data quality.
- Address divisional queries and support daily finance operations with divisional finance teams.
- Foster strong relationships with brand finance to ensure high service levels from the shared service centre.
- Ensure compliant filing of local statutory financial statements.
- Respond to internal and external audit requests and ensure compliance with HMRC regulations.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and training for team members.
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with over 10 years of experience in audit or retail.
- Experience in shared services or complex matrix organizations.
- Proven track record in leading finance process improvements and system implementations, preferably with SAP, Hyperion, and Blackline.
