Kering is hiring a Senior Accountant in Wayne, NJ — responsible for financial reporting, reconciliations, SAP and GAAP compliance. Salary $80,000–$85,000/year.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily accounting functions and ensure integrity of the general ledger across assigned entities.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate financial analyses, monthly reports and account reconciliations.
  • Support and lead annual audit preparation, respond to auditors’ queries and resolve findings.
  • Investigate and remediate account discrepancies, compliance issues and variances.
  • Delegate tasks and mentor junior accounting staff to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
  • Maintain and update financial models, procedures and documentation to reflect current accounting standards and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Solid working knowledge of GAAP and relevant US tax regulations.
  • Proven experience with month‑end close, reconciliations and audit support.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and train junior staff with limited oversight.

Experience

At least five years of hands‑on accounting experience encompassing general ledger maintenance, monthly close processes, reconciliations and audit engagements; experience within corporate finance, multi‑entity reporting or the luxury/retail sector is advantageous.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
