Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting operations including asset management, tax compliance (VAT, corporate tax), and payroll reconciliation.
  • Ensure accuracy and control of statutory accounts.
  • Maintain compliance with international and local accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and regulatory requirements for German entities.
  • Prepare fiscal reports and annual accounts.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and prepare statutory documents.
  • Present monthly financial results to Kering Houses.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including FSSC teams, Kering Houses, and financial departments.
  • Organize and oversee the work of a team of general accountants responsible for statutory accounts across Europe.
  • Motivate and develop team members, ensuring adherence to quality standards and procedures.
  • Participate in and manage projects related to R2R activities.
  • Enhance and streamline processes in collaboration with management.
  • Implement robust internal controls to ensure data integrity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 7-8 years of experience in general accounting, preferably in a shared service environment.
  • Proven team management experience.
  • Fluency in French and English; proficiency in German is advantageous.

Skills

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Proficiency in SAP and ERP systems. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Adaptability and dynamic approach to work.

Experience

A minimum of 7-8 years in general accounting with a successful track record in team management, ideally within a shared service center.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
