Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare month-end reporting, including posting journals, prepayments, fixed assets postings, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Participate in the full month-end closing process, analyzing results and liaising with brand representatives.
- Prepare full sets of accounts for month- and year-end closing, ensuring compliance with IFRS and Dutch-GAAP.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly VAT returns and coordinate with tax advisors.
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and documentation requirements.
- Address queries from stores or operational teams and support internal and external audits.
- Handle ad-hoc assignments as required.
Qualifications
- Degree in accounting or equivalent knowledge/experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industry accounting.
- Experience in retail or luxury retail finance is advantageous.
