Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for multiple countries in Southeast Asia, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage relationships with payroll service providers and oversee in-house payroll workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with local statutory and tax requirements while adhering to company policies.
  • Prepare payroll reports and maintain accurate records for audits.
  • Coordinate monthly closing data, including payroll and accruals, and liaise with the Finance department.
  • Manage withholding tax and year-end tax settlements, ensuring compliance with local legislation.
  • Prepare for and participate in external and internal audits.
  • Monitor and implement system updates and integrations with local HRIS systems.
  • Address payroll inquiries and identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resources.

Skills

Proficiency in payroll systems, particularly Workday. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Experience

A minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing is required.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resources.
