Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for multiple countries in Southeast Asia, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage relationships with payroll service providers and oversee in-house payroll workflows.
- Ensure compliance with local statutory and tax requirements while adhering to company policies.
- Prepare payroll reports and maintain accurate records for audits.
- Coordinate monthly closing data, including payroll and accruals, and liaise with the Finance department.
- Manage withholding tax and year-end tax settlements, ensuring compliance with local legislation.
- Prepare for and participate in external and internal audits.
- Monitor and implement system updates and integrations with local HRIS systems.
- Address payroll inquiries and identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resources.
Skills
Experience
A minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing is required.
