Kering Legal Counsel
Kering seeks a Legal Counsel (temporary maternity cover) in Milan to provide commercial-contract advice and legal support to its Brands.

The Group is recognised for fostering creativity, sustainability and craftsmanship across its portfolio and operates with a matrix of Brand teams supported by central functions such as Legal Shared Services EMEA.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide pragmatic legal advice and consultancy to operational teams (Operations, Procurement, Facility & General Services and other shared-service functions).
- Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements in Italian and English, including manufacturing, supply and sub-supply, machinery purchase, procurement and general services contracts.
- Support the management of disputes and litigation within areas of responsibility, coordinating with external counsel when required.
- Conduct legal research, analyse issues and prepare clear legal opinions and internal notes.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments and translate them into internal updates or guidance.
- Contribute to training initiatives and roll-out of legal awareness across business teams.
- Implement and maintain legal processes, contract templates and standard clauses to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align legal strategies with business objectives and operational constraints.
Qualifications
- Law degree from a recognised university.
- Significant in-house legal experience with a proven track record in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
- In-depth knowledge of the Italian legal system and its application to commercial contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external advisers.
- High standards of professional ethics, discretion and integrity.
- Fluency in Italian and English; working knowledge of French is an advantage.
Skills
Experience
Several years of in-house legal experience, ideally within a multinational or multi-brand environment, with demonstrable experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and supporting operational teams.
Education
Law degree; admission to practice in Italy (Avvocato) preferred but not explicitly required.
