Role & Responsibilities
- Identify and prepare desalted production batches.
- Digitally scan hides for processing.
- Operate the fleshing machine to remove fat and flesh residues.
- Rehydrate hides and prepare them for further processing.
- Operate and adjust the wringing machine for optimal results.
- Unload and position hides on supports for workstation processing.
- Adjust hide thickness according to the final product requirements.
- Inspect hides for conformity and rectify any irregularities.
- Measure hide thickness using precision tools.
- Maintain and calibrate machinery daily.
Qualifications
- Desire to learn a new trade with provided internal training.
- Interest in leather and leather goods industry.
- Good physical condition.
- Team-oriented and cooperative nature.
- Meticulous, manual dexterity, and rigorous attention to detail.
Skills
Experience
No prior experience required; training will be provided.
