Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the development and coordination of multimedia public relations strategies and calendars for the Americas region.
- Enhance Kering's external reputation through proactive storytelling and positioning of senior leadership as industry thought leaders.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media contacts to support and promote Kering's initiatives.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with local and national organizations, serving as a primary contact for community engagement.
- Increase visibility of philanthropic efforts and initiatives, including sustainability and the Kering Foundation's events, to corporate and fashion media.
- Facilitate communication and marketing synergies between Kering's brands and corporate entities.
- Support internal communications teams on significant events and messaging.
- Align local communication plans with global strategies and timelines.
- Collaborate with the President of Kering Americas on editorial processes and public commentary.
- Serve as the local contact for media inquiries, managing crisis communication and sensitive topics.
- Build strong relationships with European leadership and provide market recommendations for the US.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 10+ years of relevant work experience.
- MBA preferred.
Skills
Experience
A minimum of 10 years of experience in luxury brand communications, with a proven track record in managing media relations and crisis communications.
Education
Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
