Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and implement front-end architecture principles, frameworks, and component libraries.
  • Collaborate with architects, product teams, and platform tech leads to co-design the front-end strategy.
  • Conduct code reviews and establish best practices for performance, accessibility, and testing.
  • Promote the use of shared UI components and enforce consistent design system usage across brands.
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Designers, and Back-End Engineers to develop coherent, testable features.
  • Select and maintain front-end tools, analyze performance, and enhance load time and runtime behavior.
  • Encourage automation of tests and track key performance metrics such as LCP, CLS, and error rate.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in front-end development, including 1 to 2 years in a lead developer or technical lead role.
  • Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and performance optimization techniques.
  • Experience with scalable architecture and cross-team UI patterns.
  • Fluency in both English and French.

Experience

5 years in front-end development, with at least 1 to 2 years in a leadership role.
