Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and enforce front-end architecture principles, frameworks, and component libraries.
  • Co-design the front-end strategy in collaboration with architects, product teams, and platform tech leads.
  • Review pull requests and establish best practices in performance, accessibility, and testing.
  • Promote the use of shared UI components and ensure consistent design system usage across brands and products.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Designers, and Back-End Engineers to develop coherent, testable features.
  • Select and maintain front-end tools, analyze performance, and enhance load time and runtime behavior.
  • Encourage automation of tests (unit, end-to-end, visual regression) and track key performance metrics (LCP, CLS, error rate).

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in front-end development, including 1 to 2 years in a lead developer or technical lead role.
  • Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and performance optimization techniques.
  • Experience with scalable architecture and cross-team UI patterns.

Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Clear, structured communication and leadership by influence. Ability to operate effectively in complex, cross-functional organizations. Proficiency in both English and French.

Experience

A minimum of 5 years in front-end development, with at least 1 to 2 years in a leadership capacity.
