Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and advocate for front-end architecture principles, frameworks, and component libraries.
  • Collaborate with architects, product teams, and platform tech leads to co-design the front-end strategy.
  • Review pull requests and uphold best practices in performance, accessibility, and testing.
  • Promote the use of shared UI components and consistent design system implementation across brands.
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Designers, and Back-End Engineers to develop coherent, testable features.
  • Select and maintain front-end tools, analyze performance metrics, and enhance load times.
  • Support test automation and monitor key performance indicators such as LCP, CLS, and error rates.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in front-end development, with 1 to 2 years in a lead developer or technical lead role.
  • Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and performance optimization techniques.
  • Experience with scalable architecture and component reuse.
  • Fluency in English and French.

Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Clear and structured communication skills. Ability to work autonomously and proactively. Experience with Next.js, headless frontends, and composable backends.

Experience

A minimum of 5 years in front-end development, including leadership experience in a technical capacity.
