Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain weekly purchase plans for each supplier, optimizing production capacities in alignment with market demands and company priorities.
- Monitor the progress of purchase orders to ensure the achievement of set objectives, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Serve as the primary contact with finished product suppliers to expedite and monitor order confirmations, ensuring accurate system updates.
- Plan, analyze, and communicate with suppliers regarding delayed materials, identifying causes and collaborating with relevant functions to implement corrective actions.
- Schedule and monitor supplier workloads for new collections, aligning purchase orders with operational constraints and supply agreements.
- Conduct analyses on materials for new collections, supporting decision-making processes and contributing to the evaluation and negotiation of supply conditions.
- Maintain constant communication with suppliers to update delivery data, ensuring timely system updates and notifying the Demand Planning department of any delays or issues.
- Foster a collaborative environment and actively contribute to team objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Administration
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role and context
- Proficiency in production planning and scheduling systems (MPS, Capacity Planning, MRP)
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
- Good command of the English language
- Prior knowledge of SAP is preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and priority management skills
