Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain weekly purchase plans for each supplier, optimizing production capacities in alignment with market demands and company priorities.
  • Monitor the progress of purchase orders to ensure the achievement of set objectives, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Serve as the primary contact with finished product suppliers to expedite and monitor order confirmations, ensuring accurate system updates.
  • Plan, analyze, and communicate with suppliers regarding delayed materials, identifying causes and collaborating with relevant functions to implement corrective actions.
  • Schedule and monitor supplier workloads for new collections, aligning purchase orders with operational constraints and supply agreements.
  • Conduct analyses on materials for new collections, supporting decision-making processes and contributing to the evaluation and negotiation of supply conditions.
  • Maintain constant communication with suppliers to update delivery data, ensuring timely system updates and notifying the Demand Planning department of any delays or issues.
  • Foster a collaborative environment and actively contribute to team objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Administration
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role and context
  • Proficiency in production planning and scheduling systems (MPS, Capacity Planning, MRP)
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Good command of the English language
  • Prior knowledge of SAP is preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and priority management skills
