Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the team in providing technical guidance during the design and development of new styles, focusing on technical feasibility, quality standards, development timelines, and product costs.
- Share accurate information with business functions to aid in development and production processes.
- Collaborate with suppliers under supervision to design and develop new styles.
- Propose solutions to enhance product and process sustainability.
- Inspect prototypes, tooling samples, and samples to ensure technical, quality, and design compliance with defined requirements.
- Verify the technical accuracy of documents provided to and from other departments within the Supply Chain area, including technical drawings, material characteristics, lens requirements, colors, and BOM.
- Support the team in managing requests from the Design & Product Department related to production processes, materials, and products.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, or a related field.
- Experience in a similar role within the fashion or eyewear industry is preferred.
