Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist the team in providing technical guidance during the design and development of new styles, focusing on technical feasibility, quality standards, development timelines, and product costs.
  • Share accurate information with business functions to aid in development and production processes.
  • Collaborate with suppliers under supervision to design and develop new styles.
  • Propose solutions to enhance product and process sustainability.
  • Inspect prototypes, tooling samples, and samples to ensure technical, quality, and design compliance with defined requirements.
  • Verify the technical accuracy of documents provided to and from other departments within the Supply Chain area, including technical drawings, material characteristics, lens requirements, colors, and BOM.
  • Support the team in managing requests from the Design & Product Department related to production processes, materials, and products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, or a related field.
  • Experience in a similar role within the fashion or eyewear industry is preferred.

Skills

Strong technical acumen in product design and development. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in technical drawing and design software.

Previous experience in a similar role within the fashion or eyewear industry is preferred.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, or a related field.
